Every Saturday morning, breads, sweets and coffee are shared in the Parish Hall by anyone who happens to drop in. Old friends, perfect strangers and passers-by meet in the Parish Hall—sometimes by chance, sometimes by divine appointment. There is almost always bread for you to carry home with you too. At 10:00 a.m. we enjoy a community Bible study, to which all are welcome to drop in and share their thoughts.
This is a safe place where people break bread together, and share the bread that comes down from heaven. Initiated by St. John’s chapter of the Order of the Daughters of the King, the Bread Ministry’s door opens every Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. and closes at noon (the same hours as the Thrift Store).
The Bread Ministry is most thankful to Panera Bread® and its Day-End Dough-Nation™ program, which supplies the bread we share.
