 Marie A. (Curley) Job, passed away on August 8, 2022, peacefully at her son's home. She resided in Troy. Marie enjoyed the many years she spent working as a registered nurse in Troy and Albany, most recently at Heritage House, because she loved bringing joy to others. She loved going on family vacations, especially to the beach. She also had a love for animals, especially her cats. Marie was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was admired and loved by all of her family and friends, she was always there for anyone who needed her and her kindness and generosity were contagious. Marie was the daughter of the late Alfred and Emma (Cody) Curley. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Sarah Gerwin. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Job; sons, Fred Job Jr. and Ryan (Felicia) Job; her grandchildren, Jasmine Gordon, Thomas Gordon, Logan Job and Maddox Job; her brother, Thomas (Linda) Curley; her sister, Barbara (Thomas) Connor; and many other extended family members. Marie was one of a kind and her love for her family was unconditional. The funeral will be on Monday, August 15, at 10:15 a.m. from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford and at 11 a.m. in St. John's Episcopal Church, 146 1st St., Troy. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery, Troy.
