The Basement on First Street, also known as St. John’s Thrift Shop, is open on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon. 

Offering a wide and unpredictable assortment of clothing, jewelry, household items, and other exotica, the Thrift Shop is a favorite stop for Sage students and other thrifty neighbors in Troy, Watervliet, and beyond. All proceeds are donated by the Thrift Shop to Troy-area ministries and organizations serving those in need.

The Thrift Shop is also a place where anonymous people become known, needs are met and friendships are formed. Used clothing isn’t the only thing we see redeemed at the Thrift Shop.
