Adult Education

In the Anglican tradition, theological reflection draws on three primary sources: scripture, tradition, and reason. Study, reflection, and candid discussion are therefore practiced here; searching questions are therefore welcomed here. Recognizing that what we believe about God directly affects how we relate to God, St. John’s offers Adult Education in a variety of formats, and new participants are always welcome.

These options are currently available:

Sundays at 9:00 a.m. Mother Judith leads a study in the library based on a video series. We are currently using the Ken Bailey series on the Good Shepherd.

Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. Bible Study on themes selected by members. New members are always welcome! We meet Tuesdays at 11 a.m. using Zoom. If you would like to join, please contact the office. We are currently studying the Book of Ruth.

Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Mtr. Judith leads a study in the Thompson Room viewing “The Chosen,” the acclaimed crowd-funded film series on the life of Jesus.
